We wanted to use our latest blog to spread some positivity and say a big thank you to everyone that has supported us during this difficult time. The Coronavirus has meant that our fundraising events have been cancelled, but our supporters are still doing whatever they can to raise money for Leeway and the vital services we provide.Â
Crowdfunding Appeal
We launched a crowdfunding appeal last week to help us to sustain and enhance our services at this time of increasing demand. The appeal has already hit 10% of our target and has been shared by many people on social media channels.Â
Thank you to everyone that has supported the appeal and, if you would like to add your support, you can do so here:Â

Inspiration Trust
The Inspiration Trust oversees a number of schools and colleges across the county and recently received an anonymous donation. This has been divided between the Trust’s schools, with two of these kindly donating some of their share to Leeway.Â
Thank you to Jane Austen College, Norwich, for their donation of £2,500 and to Stradbroke Academy, Gorleston, who have donated £1,000.Â
Your support is hugely appreciated and will make a massive difference to the many people that we support.Â
Creative Supporters
Some of our supporters have been getting creative and have made products which they are selling to raise money for Leeway.Â
Ollie And Millie's - Children's Clothing have created 'You're not alone' t-shirts, which come in 3 colours and sizes from 2 years old up to 2XL, with all profits going to Leeway!Â
Meanwhile, Hannah at Indigo Sky has been making some amazing handmade earrings for a donation of a minimum of £4 a pair. Please visit @indigoskyvintage on Instagram to speak to Hannah or visit the website www.indigoskyvintage.co.uk, donate and then message Hannah letting her know what you would like to purchase.Â
Thank you to Ollie And Millie’s Children’s Clothing and Indigo Sky for supporting us!Â
Exercise Challenge
Our friends at Lakenham-Hewett Ladies Rugby club are running, walking and cycling 100 miles to raise money for Leeway!
From 27th April, they are challenging their team to run, walk and cycle a total of 100 miles in a week, using their daily exercise to support us.
They have already raised over their target amount and you can support their fundraising challenge here:Â

Thank you to everyone that is taking part in this challenge to raise money for Leeway and to everyone that has supported their fundraising so far.Â
Finally, thank you to the many people, too numerous to mention, that have supported us in any way at this particularly difficult time. Your support really is hugely appreciated and helps us to deliver high-quality services to support those experiencing domestic abuse.Â
