Did you know there are ways you can support Leeway just by shopping with many popular online retailers? There’s no extra cost to you, participating retailers make a contribution from their profits. In this blog post, we thought we’d promote a couple of websites that run these charitable schemes. Every penny that is raised for Leeway helps to support people experiencing domestic abuse in Norfolk and Suffolk.
Go Raise
Go Raise enables shoppers to raise money for their chosen charity whilst shopping online at popular retailers, such as Argos, Boots, Next and M&S. They also have several holiday and hotel accommodation providers signed up, so you can even raise money for charity whilst booking a holiday. Each retailer has pledged to donate a percentage to your selected charity – you can see the full list of retailers and their percentages on the GoRaise website.
To support Leeway, simply go to our page of GoRaise, enter your name and email, create a password and click join – it is completely free to sign up! After you have signed up, you can start shopping and raising money for Leeway. Download the Donation Reminder plug-in (compatible with Chrome or Firefox browsers) to be reminded to GoRaise every time you visit a participating retailer’s website.
Amazon Smile
The Smile scheme is run by the world’s largest online retailer, Amazon, which donates 0.5% to charity when purchasing items on their site. Sign up is free and only takes a few moments. All you need to do is sign into your Amazon account via this link and click ‘start shopping’.

Other Ways to Support Leeway
There are numerous other ways that you can support Leeway too. We host regular fundraising events, such as quizzes, golf days, annual balls, and much more.
Supporters can also set up their own event or do their own challenge to raise money for Leeway – we have had supporters hold cake sales and run marathons for us in the past! We also accept donations varying from raffle prizes that could be used at one of our events, to items such as toys, games and toiletries that could be used by some of our service users.
