Our advice and support line is an integral part of our work: providing a free, 24-hour, confidential and non-judgmental place where people can receive help and advice. In 2016/17, over 2,000 service users accessed Leeway’s advice and support line, with a further 500 professionals using the service. We’re delighted to announce that a local business, New Adventure (Norfolk) Limited, has pledged to donate £2500 per year for 3 years to go towards providing our advice & support line service.
Jonathan, Managing Director of New Adventure (Norfolk), said:
“Leeway provides an invaluable service to those affected by domestic abuse. I’m a small one man business who wants to make a long term commitment to help make a difference, and no business is too small to give.â€
Mandy Proctor, Chief Executive of Leeway, said:
“Our advice and support line is really important. The service is often the first point of contact for those experiencing domestic abuse. To have the very generous backing of New Adventure (Norfolk) is fantastic. It will ensure that we are able to provide high-quality support to those accessing our advice and support service.â€
