On Saturday 26th November, we were delighted to host our latest fundraising ball. This years event was held at the Sprowston Manor Marriot Hotel and it was great to welcome 180 guests for an evening of great food, live music and dancing.
We are thrilled to be able to announce that the event was a massive success. We have so far raised more than £6,700 to help us continue delivering support to those experiencing domestic abuse. Before we look at some of the highlights from the event, there are a few people that we would like to offer special thanks to:
And now onto our best bits:
Nina Nannar Speech
Many of you will be aware that Nina Nannar recently joined Chrissie Jackson as a patron of Leeway. We are delighted to have two local, high profile women with such distinguished media careers supporting the charity. Nina kindly joined us at the ball and delivered a powerful speech to open which included a moving short film explaining our services.
Live Music from The Fuzz
As at our previous balls, we were thrilled that local band The Fuzz were able to join us. They provided a fantastic evening’s entertainment and the dancefloor was packed for almost the entire evening!
Selfie Station
New for this year’s event was our selfie station. Guests were invited to take a selfie while showing support for Leeway. We had some fantastic selfies sent to us via social media, including this one from Jade Houlton on Twitter!

We have already turned out attentions to planning the next fundraising ball which we hope to host in early summer 2017. Please keep an eye on our blog and social media profiles for ticket information.
