Leeway Attends the HER Business Body and Life Conference

Back in March, we were delighted to be part of the HER Business, Body & Life Conference 2018. The Conference was organised by HER Business Brew – the networking organisation for women in business. HER Business Brew have named Leeway their charity of the year for 2018 and members will be raising funds and awareness throughout the year.

Charitable Businesses

The conference included many exhibitors:

• Inspired Youth. A social enterprise aimed at bringing together local businesses with local young people.
  
• Indigo Swan. The Norfolk-based business energy consultancy.
  
• Glow Virtual Assistants. Supporting entrepreneurs and business people.
  
• Sam Robbins. A professional photographer.
  
• Norwich Mind. The mental health charity.
  
• The Waveney Clinic. Cosmetic Physicians. 
  

The event was opened by Founder and CEO of HER Business Brew, Serena Fordham. Attendees also heard inspirational talks from many amazing women including: Davina Tanner (Britannia Enterprises), Rachel Welch (Freedom from Harm) and Ursula Tavender (Mumbelieveable.com).

Networking Opportunities

There was an opportunity to network with delegates and exhibitors and the chance to take part in various master classes which included: Natalie Chapman (Trusted Law, Wills), Natalie Davies (Inspired Women) and Angie Giles (Angie Giles Hypnotherapy).

Raffle Prizes

Thank you to everyone who came along and visited our stand and bought raffle tickets for the beautiful Mother’s Day flower arrangements. These were kindly created and donated by the floristry department at Easton & Otley College.
