Fundraising Fun: Upcoming Events

19 June 2019
leeway events list

We have some exciting events lined up over next few months, which you may have seen on our social media pages. All the money raised at our events helps to contribute towards the services that we provide, ensuring that we can deliver a high-quality service for people experiencing domestic abuse in Norfolk and Suffolk. Here’s what we have planned over the next few months:

Summer Quiz

Our popular quiz event returns next month, this time taking place at the Fat Cat and Canary pub on Thorpe Road. (Norwich, NR1 1TR). The Leeway Summer Quiz will take place on Friday 19th July, starting at 7pm, and is open for teams of up to 8 players.

Tickets are priced at £15 per person, with discounts available if you purchase 8 tickets. Included within your ticket price is a choice from the award-winning Archers Barbecue, including their award-winning hot-dogs, 6oz beef burger with cheese, halloumi with sweet chilli or bean burgers - all served with french fries. Alternatively, for £10 you can purchase a “quiz only” ticket.

To reserve a table and book your place, email fundraising@leewaynwa.org.uk or call 0300 561 0077.

Hypnotist Night

We also have an exciting Hypnotist Night on Friday 2nd August with the excellent Stage Hypnotist Matthew Kinross. The event is at the Oaklands Hotel on Yarmouth Road and starts at 7:30pm. (Norwich NR7 0HH). Tickets are £20 per person and include a 2-course meal and a raffle on the night!

For more information or to book, email fundraising@leewaynwa.org.uk, call 0300 561 0077, or visit our Eventbrite page.

2019 Conference

Planning is already well underway for our 2019 Annual Conference, which will be held on Friday 11th October at the Airport Holiday Inn (Cromer Road, Norwich, NR6 6JA). We have some excellent speakers already confirmed for the day: including campaigners David Challen and Luke & Ryan Hart, Kelly Semper from Norfolk County Council and Marilyn Hawes of Freedom from Abuse. Also speaking will be representatives of Leeway Anchor Project & Partners and Leeway's Project Safety Net+.

There will be additional speakers confirmed soon, with regular updates on our social media channels. If you would like to book a place, please email admin@leewaynwa.org.uk or call 0300 561 0077.

If you are interested in attending any of our events, get in touch with us. Be sure to share information with your friends and family too – it is always great to see new supporters at our events!
