The Coronavirus pandemic has meant that we have been unable to hold in-person fundraising events over the last year, but that will hopefully be changing soon. Current guidelines indicate that restrictions could be eased as early as 21st June, which would allow charities to hold fundraising events again.
We have announced a couple of events for late summer and early autumn, subject to the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown progressing as planned.
Rearranged Dance Music Night
Taking place on Saturday 14th August, Our first live fundraising event will be Harbour Radio and Leeway’s rearranged Ibiza Classics (Dave Pearce) vs Ayia Napa (DJ Luck and MC Neat) music event at Ocean Rooms in Gorleston!
It promises to be a fantastic evening with neon, dancers and amazing music and so much more!
For more information on the event and to buy tickets, visit our Eventbrite page.
Annual Golf Day
On Thursday 23rd September, our Annual Golf day at Barnham Broom returns! It costs £200 for a team of four, or £60 per person, and includes 18 holes of golf, tea/coffee and bacon roll on arrival, BBQ, and a raffle & auction.
Please check our poster for more details or email our Fundraising team with any questions.
Creating Your Own Fundraising Challenge
August is still a little way off and some supporters may want to take on their own fundraising challenge to raise money for Leeway.
That is exactly what supporter Megan Campbell is doing – cycling from Norwich to Sea Palling and back, as well as painting a mural at one of the legal walls in Norwich. You can support Megan’s fundraising challenge on her GoFundMe page.
If you are inspired by Megan’s fundraising but don’t fancy cycling, download the free guide from our Fundraising Page which has some other fun ideas of how you can raise money for Leeway. We have had supporters setting up sponsored exercise challenges involving walking, running and cycling, as well as holding their own quizzes or even letting their children cut their hair!
