There’s just over a week to go until Min Grob will be shaving her head in support of Leeway. Provided she reaches her fundraising target of £2000, Min will have her head shaved LIVE at our annual conference on the 14th July.
Early Donations
Its early days and we know from experience that a lot of donations will come in nearer the time, but we’d like to thank everyone who has already chipped in to sponsor Min. We now have a totaliser on the homepage of the Leeway website that shows how much has been raised and how far we have to go.ÂÂ
Alongside the totaliser is a countdown clock, reminding visitors to the Leeway website how long they’ve got left to sponsor Min. At the time of writing, the clock reads: 8 Days 19 Hours 56 Min.
A Good Cause
All the money raised will go to Leeway Domestic Violence and Abuse Services. Our services help people in Norfolk and Waveney to live lives free from domestic abuse. This year, there’s been a 27% increase in referrals to our services. We need fundraising efforts like Min’s to help us pay for the response to this huge increase in demand.
Please show your support for Min as she goes #BaldForChange by donating to her fundraising page. We are also looking for donations of headscarves or wigs for Min to wear whilst her hair grows back.ÂÂ
