Support Leeway’s Big Give Campaign

09 October 2024

We are delighted to be taking part in the Big Give Women & Girls Match Fund campaign, which raises money for good causes supporting women and girls.

For every donation to registered projects, Big Give will match it – meaning that every £1 donated is doubled! There is only a limited time to support the campaign though, starting on Thursday 10th October and finishing a week later on 17th October, so any support is greatly appreciated.

Our Project

Leeway’s project is raising money to enhance our Healthy Relationships project supporting children and young people across the county, raising awareness of the importance of healthy relationships and providing support to young people experiencing domestic abuse.

The money raised will enable us to reach out to more young people, providing greater resources to support our work and deliver this important project.

We hope that it will give young people vital knowledge about the importance of healthy relationships, what they look like, and what they can do if they feel they are in an unhealthy relationship.

All donations are hugely appreciated, as are any shares on social media – this helps us to reach as many people as possible, spreading the word about our important work and maximising the number of donations we receive.

You can donate to our campaign by visiting our donation page on the Big Give website.

Healthy Relationships

We believe that educating young people about the importance of healthy relationships is key to breaking the cycle of abuse and helping to create a positive environment for them to thrive.

Young people can be in unhealthy relationships that are toxic, and they are not sure where to go, who to tell or what to do. We also know that many young people will be forming new relationships and might not know what a healthy relationship should look like or what to expect.

By educating young people at an earlier stage, we hope to give them the tools to make informed decisions about relationships, as well as the knowledge to understand what is healthy and what isn’t.
