Once again, due to COVID, we have had to slightly change our Easter Egg Campaign this year, but you will still have the chance to donate Easter Eggs to the women and children we support across our refuges and in the community. We’ve been overwhelmed with the fantastic support that we have received throughout the pandemic and this looks set to continue with our Easter Campaign.
How to Take Part
All you need to do is find the designated trolley at one of our participating supermarkets by Friday 26th March, leave your Easter Egg in the trolley and we will do the rest.
This helps to ensure that everyone stays safe, limiting contact between people and the spread of Coronavirus.
If you are unable to get to one of these supermarkets but would still like to donate an Easter Egg, we have set up a Crowdfunder page where you can donate money and we will be able to purchase Easter Eggs on behalf of supporters.
Purpose of the Campaign
Many of the people we support in refuge will have fled an abusive partner with very few, if any, personal belongings. We’ve seen in previous years that the donations of Easter Eggs will put a smile on the faces of those we support.
It’s a small gift that shows people who have experienced domestic abuse that there are plenty of people thinking of them and supporting them.
